Read the click dashboard

Analytics3 min read

This article explains how to use the Clicks dashboard so you can judge traffic quality, EPC, and which clicks actually made money.

Open the dashboard

  1. Go to Clicks in the sidebar.
  2. Set the date range and optional filters (campaign, traffic source, buyer, affiliate, sub source).
  3. Review the five primary KPI cards first: Total Clicks, Conversions, Conversion Rate, Total Conversion Value, and EPC.

Those headline conversion cards reflect advertiser (CPC) postback conversions unless you open the channel / lead views described below.

Primary vs advanced metrics

  1. Read the five primary cards for the period-over-period change.
  2. Open Show advanced metrics when you need more detail.
  3. Use the advanced blocks for:
    • Traffic mix (inbound vs offer-side vs remarketing)
    • Advertiser revenue and profit
    • Channel and lead conversions (sold leads tied to the generating click)
    • Offer performance (when Offers is enabled)

Expected result: you can switch between “did advertisers fire?” and “did this click also sell a lead?” without mixing the two into double-counted global revenue.

Filter click status

  1. Open the advanced filters on Clicks.
  2. Set Click Status to valid, bot, or geo-blocked / blocked as needed.
  3. Optionally use the legacy Hide bots toggle for a quick clean view.
  • valid — served and redirected as normal.
  • bot — recorded for audit, not redirected to the advertiser.
  • blocked — usually a geo-blocked offer click; no advertiser redirect.

Inspect a single click

  1. Open the click logs list.
  2. Click a row to open the detail modal.
  3. Check status badge, reason (if blocked), conversions list, and any Test Lead badge.
  4. Review additional meta (geo, offer / wall ids, zip) when debugging offer traffic.

Expected result: you can see whether the click converted at the advertiser, produced a sold lead, or was filtered as bot/blocked.

How to read EPC without getting misled

  • Headline EPC uses advertiser conversion value over inbound clicks (media-buyer view).
  • Offer EPC (when shown) uses offer revenue over offer-side clicks (publisher view).
  • Channel metrics combine advertiser + lead conversion display for the click channel; they are for attribution reading, not a second copy of global lead revenue.

Troubleshooting

  • EPC looks like $0 with revenue present — You may be filtered to a scope with zero inbound clicks (offer-wall-only traffic). Check offer-side / total click denominators and clear overly narrow filters.
  • Lead conversion missing on a remarketing click — Only the generating click gets the lead conversion. Later clicks in the chain can carry the lead id for stitching but do not own the sale.
  • Metrics feel stale — Refresh the page or widen the date range; cached tiles catch up shortly.

Frequently asked questions

The primary Conversions and EPC cards are advertiser postback conversions. Sold-lead conversions appear in the channel and lead conversion views under advanced metrics.

Bots are recorded so you can audit traffic, but they are not redirected to advertisers. Filter Click Status or use Hide bots for a cleaner list.

A blocked click was recorded but not sent to the advertiser, most often because offer geo rules rejected the visitor’s country. Open the click detail for the reason.

Test leads confirm the funnel linked a lead to the click for debugging. They are excluded from revenue and never count as sold-lead conversions.
