Create an offer
Offers2 min read
This article shows how to create an Offer — a destination URL with payout and targeting — so you can add it to an Offer Wall or share a direct offer redirect.
Prerequisites
- The Offers feature is enabled (sidebar → Offers).
- You know the advertiser destination URL and payout.
- Optional: which campaigns’ lead fields you want to filter on or forward.
Create the offer
- Open Offers in the sidebar.
- Click Add Offer.
- On the General tab, fill:
- Name (required)
- Advertiser (who pays)
- Destination URL (required)
- Status — use Draft while you configure, Active when ready
- On Payout & Targeting, set Payout and optional country allow/block rules.
- Optional: on Advanced Filter, add consumer-profile rules (for example debt amount or credit score) so the offer only shows when the visitor matches.
- Optional: restrict which traffic sources may use the offer.
- Click Save.
Expected result: the offer appears on the Offers list and can be assigned to one or more walls.
Use tokens in the destination URL
In the Destination URL builder you can insert tokens that resolve at click time:
- Tracking tokens such as
{dh_click_id},{affiliate_id},{sub1}–{sub5},{traffic_source},{dh_lead_id} - Lead / consumer fields from the campaign (for example
{email},{debt_amount}) when that data is on the lead
- Place the cursor in the Destination URL field.
- Insert tokens from the chip row or type
{to autocomplete. - Save the offer.
Expected result: when a visitor clicks, Datahubb substitutes real values and redirects to the advertiser with those query params.
Direct offer link vs wall
- Wall — visitors pick from a curated list; use Offer Walls + embed.
- Direct offer redirect — send traffic straight to one offer’s tracking link when you do not need a wall UI.
Create the offer the same way either path; only distribution differs.
Troubleshooting
- Offer never shows on a wall — Confirm status is Active, the wall assignment is active, and geo / advanced filters are not hiding every visitor.
- Advertiser URL missing params — Unknown tokens resolve empty and are stripped. Use tokens that exist on the click or lead payload.
- Wrong geo traffic — Country is enforced from the visitor IP at click time for offer clicks; fix the offer’s country allow/block list.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. An offer is independent. You can add it to several walls and optionally override payout per wall.
It is a rule tree evaluated against the visitor’s lead or consumer profile at wall serve time. If a required field is missing, rule-bearing offers stay hidden.
No. You can use a direct offer redirect link for a single destination. Walls are for presenting multiple offers to leftover or thank-you traffic.
Offer clicks that fail the offer’s country rules are recorded as blocked and are not redirected to the advertiser. Check the click detail reason in Clicks.
