Build and embed an offer wall
Offers3 min read
This article walks you through creating an Offer Wall, assigning offers, and embedding it so leftover or post-submit traffic can monetize.
Prerequisites
- At least one Active offer exists (see Create an offer).
- Offer Walls and Click Tracking are available on your account.
- A CPC buyer on the campaign if you will attribute advertiser conversions from offer clicks (Buyer type = CPC; required on the inbound
cpcpostback). - You have a page where the wall should appear (thank-you page, exit pop, publisher lander).
Create the wall
- Open Offer Walls in the sidebar.
- Click Add Wall.
- On General, name the wall and set status (Draft while building, Active when live).
- Optionally link the wall to a campaign if your workflow ties leftover traffic to one campaign.
- Save.
Assign offers
- Open the wall → Offers tab.
- Click Add Offer and select offers from the list.
- Optional: set a custom payout for this wall if it differs from the offer default.
- Reorder positions if you use manual sort.
- Toggle offers active/inactive as needed.
- Save.
Expected result: the wall lists the offers visitors can see (after targeting filters).
Display and targeting
- Open Display & Styling (or Display) — pick List, Grid, or Carousel, theme, and sort order.
- For revenue-oriented leftover traffic, prefer sorts that use recent earned performance (payout / revenue style sorts) once you have conversion history.
- Open Targeting — set wall-level geo allow/block and zipcode behavior if you use zip matching.
- Save.
Copy the embed code
- Open the wall → Embed tab.
- Copy the embed snippet (script + mount element with your wall’s embed token).
- Optional: configure dynamic field overrides so the page can pass consumer fields into the wall (URL params or literal values).
- Paste the snippet onto the publisher page where visitors should see offers.
- Load the page with a real traffic-source context so clicks inherit campaign / source / lead when available.
Expected result: visitors see filtered offers; clicks go through Datahubb offer tracking and appear under Clicks with offer / wall context.
Monitor performance
- Check the wall’s offer list for assignment health.
- Open Offers → Analytics (or
/offers/analytics) for EPC, CPM, clicks, conversions, and revenue. - If performance is weak, tighten geo, review advanced filters, or rotate low-EPC offers.
Troubleshooting
- Wall shows no offers — Offers may be draft/inactive, geo-blocked for the visitor, zip-mismatched, or failing advanced filters.
- Clicks not attributed to the lead — Serve the wall after a tracked inbound click / lead so previous click and lead ids can inherit into offer clicks.
- Advertiser conversion missing — Create a CPC buyer on the campaign and include that
buyer_idon the inboundcpcpostback with the click id astransaction_id. - Publisher sees wrong offers — Confirm wall status is Active and you embedded the correct wall’s token.
- Geo feels wrong — Country for wall serve and offer-click blocking is resolved server-side from IP; do not rely on a client-supplied country param.
Frequently asked questions
Common placements are thank-you pages after lead submit, exit intent, and publisher leftover traffic. Anywhere you still have attention but the primary lead path is done.
Yes. When you assign an offer to a wall you can set a custom payout for that wall without changing the offer’s global payout.
Offer and wall clicks appear in Clicks with offer-side / offerwall types. Conversions come back through click postbacks and show in click and offer analytics.
Bot traffic is recorded as bot status and is not redirected to the advertiser, so it does not inflate advertiser landings the way a live redirect would.
You need Offers and Offer Walls for the UI, plus Click Tracking so offer redirects attribute correctly. Ask your admin if those sidebar items are missing.
